Ariana DiPreta
I am a master's-level clinician based in Massachusetts with focus on individuals from young adults through adulthood. I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing issues with LGBTQIA+ identity, athletes, depression, anxiety, trauma/posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), self-esteem issues, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I have extensive experience and specialize in working with athletes and can help explore coping with injury, mental blocks, and general stressors that come with being an athlete.
I work from an intersectional, strengths-based, person-centered, and holistic perspective, and I utilize culturally and trauma-informed interventions. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic work, and mindfulness guide my work with clients.
Whether you are facing a difficult temporary life stressor, are looking for new coping strategies, or just need someone to talk to, I am here to meet you where you are. It is my goal to ensure clients feel safe, heard, and at the center of their treatment. I believe it is crucial to consider all aspects of a person’s identity to genuinely connect with each other and achieve the personal growth we all seek. My hope is to work together to build upon your strengths to help you progress in a positive and healthy manner and achieve your therapeutic goals.
