Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
Last Updated 30+ days ago

I am a bilingual bicultural licensed clinical social worker fluent in English and Spanish with background in psychodynamic psychotherapy and school-based/school-linked mental health services. I have 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults across a variety of settings (in-home, schools, clinics).
As a Native New Yorker I’m aware of the various stressors of city living—My work has focused on issues such as depression/anxiety, PTSD, grief, women’s issues, multicultural identity issues, interpersonal difficulties, (ADHD),conduct disorder, autism, intellectual disability, life transitions and trauma. My practice focuses on the psychological and social well-being of the individual. I’m passionate about helping people improve their lives by developing better cognitive and emotional skills.
I am an empathic, caring and compassionate individual. I always try my best to understand the needs of the individual(s) i serve with a listening ear and nonjudgmental attitude. I believe that the work that we do is no simple task, but with courage, faith and a trusting therapeutic relationship we can safely begin the process of healing. I look forward to working with you.
